Introducing Standing Pine Apothecary, our New Aromatherapy Product Line

I started an Aromatherapy certification course back in September, which became a catalyst for me quitting my career of over a decade. I started learning about self-care, and the effects of long-term stress on the body, and realized that my job was quite literally killing me. It was time for me to slow down, and make more time to take care of myself. And not just for my own benefit, but for my husband, my dog, and my family & friends. I needed to show myself - mind, body, & spirit - the love I have always been deserving of. 

When we hear the word Aromatherapy, our minds immediately think of our olfactory system, which is responsible for our sense of smell.  Olfaction is a powerful sense, but it's not just the aromas of essential oils that are beneficial.

Pure essential oils are derived from plants, and they possess chemical constituents that have been scientifically proven to support us on both physiological AND psychological levels through not just inhalation, but cutaneous application as well.

My recent grief journey has led me to explore several different healing modalities that I've been implementing into my everyday life to support myself in my healing & self-care practices.
