Our Story

Standing Pine Acres is a 13-acre hobby farm nestled in the woods, atop the rolling hills of Sussex County, New Jersey.  We've been putting up fence & building garden beds here since 2019.

Our private little retreat in the woods is our escape from the rat race.  We both work [more than] full-time in construction, and this place is our solace.

We moved out to the country in search of a deeper connection to nature.  Since then, we've learned how to live more in tune with the seasons, and have grown passionate about embracing the healing powers of nature.

Frank takes care of the chickens & goats, while I tend to the garden.  The projects are on-going, and we are always improving & expanding.

It's been my dream since we moved here to offer something I've grown and created from my very own garden, and I'm stoked to finally bring that dream to life.

My journey through profound grief over the past six months has led me to realize that life is too short to wait for the right moment.  I've been using that grief as fuel for better things.  For doing something purposeful & fulfilling.  After attending several healing events & grief circles since June, I've decided that I want to share the healing benefits of nature & my own garden with you.

Keeping an open mind & open heart has led me to a better understanding of the human experience... of human connection.

I'll be sharing my garden in the woods with you in so many new ways this upcoming season.
